About the Department
The Department of Islamic Education focuses on preparing specialized educational and scientific cadres in Sharia sciences and Islamic studies. The department aims to graduate competent teachers capable of teaching Islamic Education in a modern approach that balances tradition with contemporaneity. It emphasizes instilling moral values, spreading moderate religious awareness, and providing students with profound knowledge in Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Exegesis (Tafsir), Hadith, and Theology (Aqeedah), enabling them to become researchers and educators who contribute to building a morally and intellectually cohesive society.
