On the morning of Monday, October 23, 2023, the handover ceremony for the position of Dean of the Open Educational College took place between Dr. Anees Mohammed Jassim Al-Mashhadani and Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed at the Deanship’s headquarters.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Dean’s assistants and the heads of scientific and administrative departments. At the beginning of the proceedings, the attendees welcomed Dr. Ihsan Hadi, wishing him success and guidance in his new mission. Dr. Ihsan is one of the college's distinguished professors and has held several positions, including Head of a Scientific Department, Director of a Study Center, and Assistant Dean for both Scientific and Administrative Affairs, making him well-versed in the institution's administrative and academic workflows.
Upon assuming his duties, the Dean emphasized the importance and necessity of working with a team spirit to elevate the college to advanced levels in disseminating knowledge to students, in accordance with scientific foundations and formal regulations.
He further praised the significant role played by Dr. Anees Mohammed Jassim during his tenure as Dean, noting his great integrity and the numerous achievements realized at the college. He wished him continued success as he moves forward in managing the Karkh Study Center, praying for the guidance and success of everyone involved.
