Under the patronage of the Dean of the Open Educational College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, and with the direct supervision of the Director of Al-Rusafa Study Center, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jalal Jassim, and in cooperation with the Head of the Islamic Education Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sundus Abdul Karim, a Quranic competition was held today at Al-Rusafa Study Center, in the presence of several faculty members and students.
The event featured the Dean honoring the Director of Al-Rusafa Study Center, the Head of the Islamic Education Department, and the Education Department Supervisor, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts. At the conclusion of the event, the Islamic Education Department also honored the Dean, presenting him with the Shield of Excellence and Creativity in recognition of his prominent role in sponsoring scientific and Quranic events and his continuous support for academic activities.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of the first-place winner and the awarding of appreciation certificates to all participants, encouraging them for their excellence and distinction in memorizing the Holy Quran.
