The Dean of the Open Educational College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Anees Mohammed Jassim Al-Mashhadani, held an extensive meeting with the Registration Department at the Deanship headquarters on the morning of Sunday, July 23, 2023.
During the meeting, the significant progress achieved by the Registration Department was highlighted, particularly the speed in issuing graduation certificates and endorsements, as well as the rapid completion and submission of the third-cycle "Scientific Clearing" (Al-Maqasa) lists to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Plans for the upcoming academic year were established, covering admission policies and the issuance of administrative orders for student enrollment and transfers within specified deadlines. The plan also includes the electronic archiving of student files dating from 1998 to the present. Furthermore, an electronic form will be launched for requesting documents, endorsements, and graduation murals, eliminating the need for graduates to personally visit the Deanship.
It is noteworthy that the Registration Department now issues documents on the same day the request is submitted. The department has adopted a "Daily Zero-Mail" system, ensuring all received correspondence is processed before the end of official working hours—an achievement considered unprecedented among colleges and universities.
