The Governor of Holy Karbala, Eng. Nassif Al-Khattabi, accompanied by the Director General of Karbala Education, Mr. Abbas Ouda Al-Sultani, attended the annual festival of the Karbala Study Center. The festival commenced with the first segment, featuring the flag-raising ceremony, the national anthem, and the honoring of champion athletes among the center’s faculty and students.
Subsequently, the Governor inaugurated the art exhibition of the Art Education Department, as well as the scientific and educational aids exhibition for the departments of Islamic Education, Arabic, English, Mathematics, History, Science, and Educational Administration. The third segment followed, consisting of scientific seminars and workshops for all academic departments, running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The Governor emphasized that these scientific activities reflect the academic rigor of the Open Educational College as a prestigious institution worthy of the Ministry of Education, pledging full support for its mission. The Director General expressed his commitment to opening educational support channels for this generous institution. Meanwhile, the Director of the Karbala Study Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Masoudi, affirmed that this excellence is the result of the extensive scientific and administrative efforts provided by the College Deanship, supported by the Karbala Governorate and its Directorate General.
The festival was also attended by the Head of the Karbala Teachers’ Union, Dr. Khalid Mar'i Al-Masoudi, the Director of Specialized Supervision, Dr. Ali Hussein Youssef, and various prominent educational figures.
