Under the patronage of Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, Dean of the Open Education College, and with the direct supervision of the Director of the Rusafa Study Center, Dr. Jalal Al-Rikabi, the center organized a public speaking festival in the Al-Sayyab Hall amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and creativity.
The festival was attended by the Dean, the Assistant Dean Dr. Firas Taher, the Head of the Arabic Language Department Professor Dr. Yahya Khalil, a number of faculty members from the Rusafa Study Center, and students. The participants delivered outstanding speeches on a variety of national and educational topics, showcasing their rhetorical abilities and high level of confidence in their performance before an audience.
At the conclusion of the festival, the winners were honored with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their talents and efforts in reviving the art of public speaking and developing communication and presentation skills among students.
