The Department of Education and Public Relations, in cooperation with the Open Educational College/Continuing Education Center, held an educational seminar today, Wednesday, May 7, 2024, on the manifestations of corruption and ways to eliminate them at the college headquarters in Baghdad.
The seminar was presented by Ms. Manal Fayeq Abbas, covering several topics, including an introduction to the Federal Integrity Commission's work and its efforts to combat corruption through preventive and educational fields.
During the session, the lecturer highlighted the "National Project Blended with Sharia Duty - We Triumph Over Corruption" launched by the Commission last March. This project introduced the research competition "Participate in the Battle of Corruption," which invites research papers that consolidate integrity values and identify mechanisms to fight corruption across all state sectors.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Professor Dr. Sadeel Adel Fattah, Director of the Continuing Education Center, representing the Dean of the College, Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, expressed deep gratitude to the Department of Education and Public Relations for their cooperation in organizing this purposeful seminar, which enriched the participants' knowledge and provided insight into the work of regulatory bodies.
