In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
The Deanship of the Open Educational College, represented by its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, and all its faculty and administrative staff, commemorates the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful and the Master of the Successors, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him). This painful tragedy shook the conscience of the Islamic nation when his pure soul ascended as a martyr in the mihrab of worship, he who said: "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have succeeded."
On this fragrant anniversary, we recall the radiant biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), with the values of justice, fairness, wisdom, asceticism, and courage it carried. He was an example of the just leader and the Imam who dedicated his life to supporting the truth and establishing the tolerant principles of Islam.
As we offer condolences to the entire Islamic nation, and the Iraqi people in particular, on this painful memory, we emphasize the necessity of drawing inspiration from his upright path and following in his footsteps in consolidating the values of justice, sacrifice, and sincerity in serving religion and society.
May God have mercy on Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) and make us among those who follow his upright path.
Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we shall return.
