Under the auspices of the Dean of the Open Educational College, Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, and the supervision of the Director of the Rusafa Study Center, Dr. Nizar Karim Jawad, the History Department held its first festival today, Sunday, December 3, titled "Iraq Across the Ages." The event was coordinated by the department supervisor, Dr. Haider Farouq, and attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Faten Hussein Moussa, along with several heads of scientific departments and faculty members.
The festival featured various segments, including a theatrical performance titled "Joseph's Brothers," which highlighted the reality of the Israeli aggression on Palestine. The program also included a historical simulation operetta and a historical costume parade. The festival concluded with the Dean inaugurating an exhibition of historical photographs and models. The Dean praised the outstanding efforts, organization, and performance of the center's administration, faculty, and students, wishing them continued success and progress.
