Under the sponsorship and presence of the Dean of the Open Educational College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, and under the supervision of the Director of the Rusafa Study Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Jalal Jassim al-Rikabi, the Rusafa Study Center organized a cultural seminar on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him), titled: "Glimpses from the Biography of Imam Ali (PBUH)."
The seminar addressed luminous stations from the fragrant biography of Imam Ali (PBUH), shedding light on his eternal positions in establishing the principles of justice, truth, and supporting the oppressed. It also highlighted his pioneering role in spreading sublime human and Islamic values that have served as a beacon for generations throughout the ages.
Furthermore, the lecturers reviewed the most prominent features of his leadership and intellectual personality, and his significant contributions to consolidating the foundations of just governance and community service. They emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from his upright path and noble values in building a cohesive society based on the principles of tolerance, fairness, and respect for humanity.
The seminar witnessed scholarly interventions and rich cultural discussions covering the impact of Imam Ali's thought and biography on Islamic history, and his role in entrenching the system of moral and human values that continue to be a source of inspiration in various fields of life.
