Within the curriculum of the Open Educational College to enhance scientific and cultural communication, the Dean of the Open Educational College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, continued attending the activities of the Baghdad International Book Fair for the second consecutive day.
During the visit, His Excellency met with the Minister of Culture, Mr. Ahmed Fakak al-Badrani, where they discussed aspects of scientific and cultural cooperation and ways to develop them. He also met with the Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Iraq, Mr. Mohammed al-Hassan, to discuss possible frameworks for scientific and cognitive cooperation and means for their advancement.
Furthermore, he met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Mr. Fadhil al-Badrani; the meeting emphasized strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation between the Ministry and the Open Educational College, including holding joint conferences and seminars. He also met with the Director General of the General Directorate for Teacher Preparation, Training, and Educational Development, Mr. Taha Issa al-Naji. Both sides discussed enhancing and supporting scientific and cultural initiatives between the Directorate and the Open Educational College, as well as exchanging cognitive and academic expertise aimed at developing and integrating educational work.
