Babil Governorate witnessed the activities of the 11th Babylon International Festival of Cultures and Arts, held under the title "Palestinian Culture Festival" at the ancient city of Babylon.
This new edition of the festival saw extensive local, Arab, and international participation. It featured a permanent book fair with publishing houses from various countries, as well as Palestinian fashion shows on the Babylonian Theater, musical performances, and the honoring of several writers. The festival concluded on April 26th.
Dr. Ihsan Hadi Ahmed, Dean of the Open Educational College, attended the closing ceremony and was honored with the Festival Shield. The college’s presence was remarkable, particularly in the Babylon Book Fair and the highly professional management of the Babylonian Theater events.
